Milano Unica, una B(i)ella idea

Il progresso nasce dalla ricerca, dalla conoscenza e dalla preparazione, il progresso è frutto dell’investimento; questa settimana abbiamo avuto l’onore di poter partecipare a Milano Unica, una delle fiere tessili più importanti a livello internazionale, grazie all’investimento e alla fiducia riposta in noi dalle più eccellenti realtà tessili riconosciute a livello mondiale. Abbiamo avuto occasione di osservare, captare e assorbire qualsiasi tipo di informazione e spiegazione dataci dai professionisti di questo settore, disponibili a mostrarci le mille sfumature del loro mestiere. Questa manifestazione ci ha dato la possibilità di partecipare, affiancando commerciali e disegnatori, alle scelte dei clienti più importanti provenienti dall’Italia e da tutto il mondo, permettendoci di immedesimarci nella figura del venditore e di approcciarci a diverse culture e differenti modi di esporre la collezione. Ognuno di noi ha imparato molto sull’affascinante mondo del tessile durante questi tre giorni; abbiamo potuto vedere e toccare con mano la bellezza dei tessuti più classici, l’innovazione e le performance degli ultimi prodotti tecnici, oscillando tra finezze, pesi e composizioni mediante le quali i disegnatori, così come veri artisti, costruiscono un prodotto dalla bellezza straordinaria. Abbiamo avuto inoltre la fortuna di avere, attraverso il Wool Lab, una panoramica sulle tendenze attuali riguardanti il mondo della lana filata e tessuta. Molte persone credono in noi, molte aziende hanno investito sulla nostra formazione, saremo sempre grati di ciò e lo ripagheremo con impegno e dedizione. In quest’occasione particolare vogliamo ringraziare Botto Giuseppe, Cerruti, Loro Piana, Marzotto e The Woolmark Company che ci hanno ospitato durante questa ventiseiesima edizione di Milano Unica e mandiamo un saluto a tutti i professionisti che con disponibilità ci hanno seguito.

Progress is born of research, knowledge and competence, progress is the fruit of investment; this week we had the honour of being able to take part in Milano Unica, one of the most important international textile fairs, thanks to the investment and the trust placed in us by the most recognised textile companies in the world. We had the opportunity of watching, understanding and absorbing a great deal of information and the detailed explanations given to us by the professionals of this sector, who were always willing to show us the many aspects of their work. This fair gave us the chance to witness, by working alongside sales people and designers, the choices of the most important customers from Italy and all over the world, enabling us to understand more fully the role of the seller and to come into contact with different cultures and ways of showing the collection. Each of us learnt a lot about the fascinating world of textiles during these three days; we were able to see and touch the most classical fabrics, admire the innovation and the performance of the latest technical products, observing various finenesses, weights and compositions by means of which the designers, like true artists, create a product of amazing beauty. Thanks to the WoolLab we were given an overview of the current trends in the world of woollen fibers and fabrics. Many people trust in us, many companies have invested in our training so we will always be grateful for this and we’ll repay them with hard work and dedication. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Botto Giuseppe, Cerruti, Loro Piana, Marzotto and The Woolmark Company who hosted us during this twenty-sixth edition of Milano Unica and we send our regards to all the professionals who were so generous with their help.
